This might be little bit old, but I dont remember seeing a post on this. Employment-based immigrant visa fees almost doubled, Old fees $ 355, new fees $ 720 from July 13th. Does this mean USCIS will open the gates in Sept bulletin [to be released in August]?

Some portions of the animation might have numerous edges that take a long time for your processor to process. You really cannot avoid that unless you have any background programs running.

I love my playstation and anime but that doesn't mean I am gonna live in Japan. Last I checked, they still kinda look down on gaijins. And I also like my name the way it is... don't want to change it to Akira Fubuki or some sh*t. :D

You should pay taxes in PA.
In case your employer is running the payroll from MI, then file MI taxes as Non resident and PA as resident. You will get credit for paying non resident taxes in MI on PA's state tax form.
Don't pay resident taxes in the state where you are not staying. I got this info from a HR block tax consultant..

So, I was up on the roof at work and happened to have an orange with me... so I balanced it on my head and snapped this pic looking like I'm about to suck the Transamerica Pyramid up through a straw. Oh, then I did a bit of editing in Photoshop.
Enjoy,

Hi,
I have changed to a new employer using AC-21 recently. I have pro-actively sent AC-21 documentation (new offer of employment, covering letter and supporting docs) to USCIS. Ever since, I am checking my case online. Its about 3 months now that I have sent this info and there has not been any update/LUD on my 485 case so far. I am not sure if my I-485 case has details about my new employment.
I am currently doing my EAD renewal. I am thinking if it will be possible to indicate to USCIS about my new employment. Can you please advice on -
a) if it is wise to do so?
b) How can it be done?
Thanks,
Ajaysri

Greetings,
Can fellow forum members suggest any Stamford,CT area lawyers whose services they have availed off. I am looking to get a second opinion, independent of my companys lawyer.
Thanks.

Hi Guys,
Just need an advice to what to do. My wife is currently on F1 and she is graduating in Dec'07.She has and EAD and AP since we applied for her I485 and even mine is pending. Now I have apply for her 7th year H1B extesion. So my question is do we need to even apply for my wife status change from F1 to H4.She is planning to use her EAD.
lets say even if we apply for status change now, can she travel on AP even though status change is pending.
Thanks to all for the advices.

Hi,
Entered into USA on H1: 06/2001
Change of Status to F1: 12/2001
Change of Status to H1: 10/2004
Labor Filed Substitution: 07/2007
Appeal: 11/2009 in process
I calculated my time in USA excluding time spent outside the country and my 6 years will end in June 2010. When my employer renewed H1 back in 2008 he simply claimed for 3 years and USCIS approved till 03/2011. But I read somewhere online that we have to calculate our time spent in the country and should not go by the date that is on our H1.
1. Does the change of status from H1 to F1 reset the H1 time period or do we have to consider that time period while calculating the 6 years
2. As my application (AAO) is pending I heard I will get a one year extension. The question I have is can I stay on my current H1 till 03/2011 or do I have to renew my H1?
Thanks
